International Communication / Reconciling work and family

The international staff week splits in two main focus groups: A) International Communicaion - B) Reconciling work and family 

It includes a general presentation of the City and University of Ferrara together with an italian language "survival" course. 

The programme will than focus:

• on "international communication", max 20 participants. There will be an overview of the topic not only for its general meaning but also the solutions and tools that have been adopted from the University of Ferrara. How communication develops within international activities between single offices, universities or between universities and external institutions. Which softwares or internet tools are suitable for a strong and effective communication. 
• on "reconciling work and family", max 20 participants. Which services are offered to workers and students of the University of Ferrara within this topic: telework, flexi-time, parental leaves, social Services to help workers and students, kindergarten, elders care and summer centres for children. Comparison between the services offered all around Europe and the economical impact on each educational institution.

Participants are invited to give an active support presenting the experience of their own universities.
