Erasmus+ Staffweek University of Cologne/Germany

„Staff Development + Support“

Since its establishment the University of Cologne has been a center of science and scholarship in Europe. Today, it is one of the leading German research universities.

Founded in 1388 and closed during the 19th century, in 2019 UoC celebrates the centenary of its re-opening:

In this context, the departments for HR development and international mobility invite you to the first interdepartmental Staff Week from 23 to 27 September 2019.

Responsibility for its employees is an important concern for UoC. Therefore the focus in terms of content will be on issues of the development and support of the employees. All measures and activities (e.g. continuing education programmes, management trainings, company health management, advice centres for employees and managers or on gender and diversity issues, dual career and family support, university sports... and so on) around this topic will be the subject of our mutual exchange.

A poster session will be organised to enhance interaction and debate between the participants. It is expected that everyone contributes a poster about his or her university.

In addition, there will be job shadowing, visits to university institutions and a cultural programme.

Let us surprise you!

Our selection process

For us, diversity is an important success factor. That's why we want to address a broad spectrum of participants with different ideas and experiences. Ideally, we will have a colleague from each EU country as a guest.

The number of participants is limited to 28. We will process the applications immediately and close the registration form as soon as we have reached this number. As soon as we have reviewed your application and decided whether or not to participate, you will receive a message from us.
