TRAVELLING INFO
Porto is quite an accessible city with regular flights from all over Europe, including low-cost carriers. Porto’s Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) is situated 10km northwest of the centre.
Whether you need to get to the airport or to the city centre, an efficient public transportation network is at your service to get you where you need to go. Just choose the one that is more convenient for you: metro, buses, shuttles or táxis. More info at: https://www.ana.pt/en/opo/access-parking/getting-to-and-from-the-airport/public-transportation
Getting to Porto by train or even by bus or car are also reliable alternatives, depending on each participants priorities and points of departure. More info at: http://www.porto-tourism.com/how-to-get-to-porto.html
ACCOMMODATION
The Meeting Point for the transfers will be right in front Trindade Metro Station, the central station where all the metro lines pass. So, we recommend you to look for accommodation close to it, or, if not possible, next to a metro stop, in order to be easier for you to get there.
If this your first trip to Porto, we would recommend being based within the districts of Ribeira, Vitória, Sé, Baixa or Ildefonso. These small areas are very close to all of the main sights and buzz of the city.
We are looking forward to welcoming you here at CESPU!
