On 7-8-9 December 2016 two events with regard to Diabetes will take place at the same time on the Thomas More campus in Geel, Belgium.

The BUSINET-DIABETES symposium will highlight different aspects of DIABETES TYPE 1 DURING PREGNANCY AND CHILDHOOD in plenary and break-up sessions, company visits, poster sessions, company presentations, exchange of know-how with the relevant departments of Thomas More University College and University College Leuven-Limburg.

Because of the safety situation in Ethiopia, we decided to organise simultaneously in Belgium the INCO (International VLIR-UOS Conference) which had to take place at Mekelle University. This International Conference deals with the multidisciplinary approach of diabetes: “DIABETES, A HOLISTIC APPROACH FROM DIAGNOSIS TO LIFELONG CARE!”

For the full programme and application form see: http://businet-diabetes2016.thomasmore.be/

We kindly invite you to participate, perhaps with your students. You have the option to participate, to give a session or workshop, or to present a poster with results of your own research or activities connected to the subject of Diabetes.

After receiving your application (deadline 1 December), we will give you suggestions on accommodation, if you wish so. Staff or teaching members of European universities can apply for Erasmus+ funding via their home institution.

We are looking forward to welcoming you,

The organizing Diabetes team
