International Office of Mykolas Romeris University (LT VILNIUS06) kindly invites colleagues from Partner universities to our 11th Erasmus+ Staff Exchange Week, taking place from 19 to 23 June, 2023 in Vilnius (Lithuania).

This year, staff exchange week is organized as Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) No. 2021-1-LT01-KA131-HED-000009702-1 for staff members and shall be dedicated to presenting and sharing with the participants Mykolas Romeris University as a Challenge Based and Experiential Workplace. Therefore we are planning a virtual 1 day training component on 14 June 2023 before the physical mobility part  (19-23 June, 2023) .

The main objective of this event is to widen and strengthen cooperation, exchange know-how, good experiences and practices with our Partner Institutions from Erasmus+ KA131 programme countries and KA107/KA171 international credit mobility partners.

The content of the week is prepared both for staff members interested  in sharing their experience among administrative units (International offices, Quality assurance, Student and Staff services, Research management etc) and also for staff members from the Faculties who work on administration of studies or international relations.

19th Monday to be arrival day and an informal meeting in the afternoon

20th Tuesday University’s meet and greet and getting to know all participating universities (usually we have about 20 participants)

21st Wednesday  acquaintance with receiving non-teaching departments  (like international office, research and innovation center, academic affairs center, community well-being, etc.) who will present their challenges and actual experiences which they dealt with over the last years, share ideas and engage participants into the discussions.

22nd Thursday acquaintance with academic faculties (we have 4 faculties altogether, so there will be meetings with staff of each of the faculty) and their practices in providing challenge based and experiential learning for the diverse groups of students. Staff exchange week participants will have an opportunity to attend a Graduation ceremony.

23rd Friday  will be dedicated to cultural-educational programme with finalization of the staff exchange week

REMINDER: We organize this week as  a Blended intensive programme (BIP) for staff from our 2021 KA131 mobility project (on 14 June we plan a virtual part before the arrival to Lithuania)…

– we will announce by e-mail message all selected candidates on 1 June 2023. 

– Main working language will be English.

– Every participant will be asked to actively participate in sharing their experience and or best practices on different topics of the Staff Exchange Week and to participate in the virtual part on 14 June 2023 before arrival to Lithuania)

– Transportation and accommodation are personal responsibilities of the selected candidates. Erasmus+ staff mobility grants for training should be asked only from home University (applicable for applicants from Universities of  EU Member States and third countries associated to the Programme).   

– Mykolas Romeris University will provide practical guidelines to selected participants (including advice on accommodation, public transportation, etc.)
