Registration free of charge. The costs of travel and accommodation have to be covered by the participants. Meals and coffee breaks included.
Fee reductions/waivers:
We have pre-reserved 10 single rooms and 5 double rooms in university hotel Akademik for special price. More information in application form.
Maximum number of participants:
20-25 (max. 1 participant per institution). Only participants from international departments as Erasmus+ mobility coordinator and/or other staff dealing with Erasmus+ mobility (KA103 and KA107).

The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU), Slovakia has the honour to announce its first Erasmus+ International Staff Week on 5 - 9 June 2017.

The STU is the largest university of technology in Slovakia, a modern European educational, scientific and research institution with strong international links. STU is located in the beautiful capital city of Bratislava, famous for its rich history, architecture, tradition, culture, art, free time activities, drinks, food and nightlife.

The main purpose of the event is to:

  • Raise awareness about the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava in the Central European region and across Europe,
  • Expand and strengthen the cooperation with our partner institutions and establish new contacts and partnerships,
  • Establish personal contacts with staff of European universities and discuss their experience in Erasmus+ mobility (KA103 and KA107) and internationalization of universities,
  • Share best practices regarding the organization of international mobility of the university students and staff,
  • Share experience in the International Credit Mobility with countries beyond Europe (non-EU countries).

The Erasmus+ Staff Week is aimed for colleagues from European universities working in international departments as Erasmus+ mobility coordinators and other staff dealing with Erasmus+ mobility (KA103 and KA107) and other mobility .

  • Presentations of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and its faculties,
  • Presentations of all participants (internalisation and mobility),
  • Presentation of the National Agency (Slovak Academic Association for International Cooperation),
  • Workshop I “How to increase awareness about mobility and make it more attractive to potential participants",
  • Workshop II "Mobility experience with the countries beyond Europe (KA107),
  • Social events: Guided tour of the Bratislava historical centre; Welcome dinner; Guided tour of Trnava, called “Little Rome“ and visit University Scientific Park; Boat trip to ruins of the Devin Castle on the Danube River

The number of participants is limited, we recommend the interested candidates fill in the  application form at your earliest convenience, but not later than 30.04.2017!

Max. 1 participant per institution!

By higher number of candidates, the participants will be evaluated and chosen based on information in application form.
