Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa has the pleasure to invite you to the 1st International Week at Suor Orsola Benincasa University: Building the Common European Education Area from Naples which will take place from 4th May 2022 to 6th May 2022 in Naples both virtually and physically.

The main aim of this event is to invite teachers and staff from higher education institutions from different parts of the world and provide them with an opportunity to meet our students and staff in a different academic and cultural context to network, discuss and share experiences, best practices and challenges with representatives of other institutions to acquire new knowledge and further develop expertise and fresh motivation.

The purpose is to promote the idea of internationalization and strengthen our international partnership through individual meetings, presentations and workshops. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our university in a stimulating academic environment based on tradition and innovation, key elements for educational institutions’ development.

The International Week will accept a limited number of participants – maximum 25 participants face to face + 25 virtual.

Teaching university staff, international officers and international coordinators, Erasmus institutional coordinators are particularly welcome.

Guest teachers are invited to give lectures, seminars or workshops. Staff members in training are expected to present their institution and to attend seminars and workshops organized by the University.

Participants are expected to obtain Erasmus+ Mobility grants or other source of financing from their home institutions to cover their living and travel expenses.

These will be the main topics for the international activities but any other proposal is welcome: Education Sciences, Communication Sciences, Psychology, Human resources, Cognitive ergonomics, Cognitive neuroscience, Social and behavioural sciences, Pedagogy and lifelong learning: school, community, territory, Pedagogical Guidance, Formation and human sciences for teaching, Entertainment and Media Studies, Languages, Interpretation and Visions of Reality, Pedagogical Sciences, Planning, Administration and Management of Social Policies and Services, Business and Public Communication, History of Art and Archaeology, Modern Languages and Culture, Sciences for Cultural Heritage: Tourism, Art, Archaeology, Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, Law, European Protection Law of Individuals in relation to New Technologies, History of the idea of Europe, European citizenship, Business studies, Business administration and Green Economy, Inclusion and Diversity (disabilities, health problems, barriers linked to education and training systems, cultural differences, social barriers, economic barriers, barriers linked to discrimination, geographical barriers), Digital Transformation, Environment and Climate Action, Participation in democratic life.

All participants are required to submit an abstract in English (a minimum of 2000 characters) of their lecture/presentation in the application form along with their mobility agreement, however, lectures and presentations can also be held in French, Spanish, Italian and German if preferred.
