2nd International Staff Training Week “UNIVERSITY. STUDENT. SPORT”

We have the pleasure to invite you to the 2nd International Staff Training Week (ISTW) which will take place on 23–77 May 2016 at the Lithuanian Sport University (LSU), Kaunas, Lithuania.

The 2nd edition of the Staff Training Week has a general theme “UNIVERSITY. STUDENT. SPORT” and will focus on the accessibility of sports facilities to the academic community and provision of sport and recreation services to address the students’ and staff needs for physical activity. The ISTW-2016 programme will include presentations, seminars, workshops and participation in group fitness classes. In addition, the ISTW-2016 will offer different social and recreation activities, including guided tours in the city of Kaunas and the University campus, volleyball tournament, and much more.

Who can attend?

The 2nd ISTW-2016 is targeted to the administrative staff and sports coaches from sport centres and other administrative and support units of our partner institutions who organise the University sports events, provide physically active leisure and sports services to its students and staff or organise different campaigns and activities for the local community to promote health-enhancing physical activity.

Costs:

The ISTW-2016 programme is free of charge. All participants are expected to cover their travel, accommodation and living expenses from the Erasmus staff mobility for teaching grant or other funds.
