Dear Colleagues,

IRO Valencia 2015 is a five-day international coaching event that aims to improve the key professional skills of International Officers from Higher Education Institutions. Participants will have the opportunity to work on their technical and social abilities in an authentic international setting.

Upon completing the course, participants will have strengthened their planning, leadership, management, team-building and decision-making skills, and increased their competence in University International Relations, both at institutional and personal level.

The event lasts 30 hours, divided into six hours of work sessions per day (Monday-Friday, 09:00 – 18:00). Fees: 350 € per person.

Small work groups are created along the scheduled activities. Sessions involve specific coaching workshops, group dynamics, topic oriented seminars, open debate, applied language and IT training, team work, and a powerful human-based operative framework.

Target group is university staff (teaching and non-teaching) dealing with international issues, not strictly international officers working in exchange programmes' offices.

Central topic of our coaching event will be "Human-based International Relations". All work sessions and scheduled activities will be approached from such point of view.

Participants are expected to obtain Erasmus+ Staff Mobility grants from their Home Institutions to cover their travel, living and accommodation expenses.

Please find attached the event´s description and programme, together with the pre-registration form (deadline: is 5th October 2015)

Looking forward to welcoming you next October in Valencia

Claudio
