Universidade do Minho is very pleased to announce its 2st UM_INT: Lab Staff Week_UMinho which will be held between May 11th-15th, 2020.
This week is specifically designed for staff working in laboratories. Along the week, participants will have the opportunity to attend several sessions, seminars and workshops and actively participate in the programme through the presentation of selected topics. The programme will provide an intercultural learning experience through diverse networking moments creating the ideal atmosphere for the exchange of know-how and best practices between the participants as well as interact with staff from the University of Minho.
The week will also include a social programme with cultural visits of the surrounding monuments.
Compulsory staff week registration fee is 100 EUR and includes: Useful kit; lunches and coffee-breaks; tour to the University facilities and infrastructures; networking dinner on Wednesday and cultural visit to Braga: where we have a visit to Tibães Monastery and to Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary, one of the most iconic places of Portugal, that this year was recognized a UNESCO World Heritage cultural site.Optional cultural visit to OPorto. After payment there will be no refunds.
The selection results will be launched shortly after the application deadlines and applicants will be informed individually by e-mail.
The list of accommodation options as well as other relevant useful information will be sent to all participants after the selection process is concluded.
