3rd Edition of InterWeek

The University of Porto is pleased to announce its 3rd edition of the INTERNATIONAL WEEK 2016,

7th till 11th November (English Language)

This third edition of the Staff Training Week  in English language is open to administrative staff from International Cooperation. With an intensive programme focused in the expansion of cooperation (through new tools and financial possibilities), this capacity building will offer an enriching international and intercultural learning experience and the opportunity to discuss interesting and important topics. The activities will comprise a range of issues through interactive group sessions including workshops and short certificated training courses, among others. With this initiative, we wish to open the University of Porto to our partners and other foreign universities in order to strengthen international cooperation by encouraging the exchange of best practices and experiences.

In order to make more comfortable the organization of the participants’ travel to Porto, we centralize in our office the reservations of accommodation and meals assuring special rates for our guests (through specific protocols with hotels and restaurants in the city). Therefore, there will be a fee of 550,00 Euros/participant, which will include both work and social programme:

• Accommodation for all participants for 6 nights in a single room with breakfast included;

• 5 Lunches;

• Information Kit;

• Coffee-breaks;

• Social Programme;

• Multicultural Dinner;

• Certificate of attendance.

3rd Edition (English language) – Deadline: 16th September

The selection will be made on the basis of first-come, first-served, taking into consideration the maximum number of participants per Edition. The results will be sent to each participant shortly after the application deadline. Please be aware that we can allow a maximum 2 (two) representatives from each institution.

The programme we are sending you is provisional. After the admission, the participants will receive the final programme.
