We here at the University of Lomza, Poland, are honoured to invite you to our 5th International Staff Week, which will take place between May 25th – May 29th 2026.

We are pleased to welcome academic staff and colleagues from International Relations Departments to join us at the University of Lomza for the 5th edition of our International Staff Week.

The event provides a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences in international cooperation, strengthen partnerships within the Erasmus+ Programme, and discover the cultural and natural richness of our region – located in the heart of the green lungs of Poland.


What’s in store this year?

  • Introduction to the University of Lomza and presentations of our four faculties:
    • Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
    • Faculty of Computer Science and Technology
    • Faculty of Health Sciences
    • Faculty of Law and Administration
  • Participants’ presentations and exchange of best practices in international cooperation;
  • Lectures, seminars, and workshops focusing on internationalisation and academic collaboration;
  • Campus tour and introduction to the university facilities;
  • Visit to the North Mazovian Museum and a guided town tour of Łomża;
  • A one-day cultural and educational trip including herbal workshops at the Podlasie Herbal Garden;
  • Networking opportunities to develop long-term academic cooperation;
  • Insights into Polish culture, traditions, and local cuisine.

Participation in the 5th International Staff Week is free of charge.

Accommodation and travel costs are not included and must be covered by the participants.

The Staff Week can be included as a mobility within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme.


We provide:

  • coffee breaks
  • sightseeing of Lomza
  • visiting the North Mazovian Museum
  • participation in the trip and herbal workshops at the Podlasie Herbal Garden
