The Open University of Cyprus is a pubilc University specialised in open and distance education. Following up on the success of previous Staff Weeks, we are pleased to announce the OUC's 9th Erasmus+ International Staff Week, which will take place in Nicosia/ Cyprus on May 27-31, 2024 (option to join a 3 or 5 days programme).

During the Staff Week, participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the particularities and discuss the challenges of online education that is the 'norm' in higher education nowadays, discuss and exchange ideas and best practices in the areas of international relations, student support services, communications and marketing, research, university-industry links, international and blended mobility, eLearning technologies and many more.

This Staff Week is also an excellent opportunity to establish new partnerships and open ways for future collaborations between participating institutions.

The event aims to bring together university staff members to share expertise and experiences, develop competences, skills and peer learning, while facilitating sharing of best practices.

Target audiences: Professional / administrative staff mostly dealing with the areas / topics to be covered in the Staff Week.

The programme will include cultural activities so that participants can discover the culture of Cyprus.

The preliminary Programme will be announced soon.

Deadline for applications: January 26, 2024 at midnight

Participation fee: 50 EUR (Participants are expected to cover their travel and accommodation costs using the Erasmus+ grant they will secure by their Home University)

Please note that participation in the 9th OUC Erasmus+ International Staff Week will depend on the number of applications received. Priority will be given to members of the staff of OUC Partner Universities in the context of the Erasmus+ Programme.
