BBA INSEEC Ecole de Commerce Europeenne Bordeaux - Lyon is pleased to invite teaching staff to join our 9th European Week which will take place on 9-13 May 2016 at our campuses Bordeaux and Lyon.
PROGRAMME
This event, mainly designed for our regular and international students in BA Business Administration, includes lectures given by guest academics on mutually agreed topic(s) (see Selection of topics).
Guest lecturers have a choice to attend the event either on both campuses (transfer from Bordeaux to Lyon by plane being assured by our services) or to give lectures only for one campus (ref. planning as follows):
- Participation Bordeaux -Lyon campuses : 9 – 13 May 2016
- Participation Bordeaux campus only: 9 – 11 May 2016
- Participation Lyon campus only: 11 – 13 May 2016
Please see our Preliminary programme attached, the agenda being subject to changes! Detailed programme and practical information (accommodation, transportation, etc.) will be sent to the selected participants.
SOCIAL PROGRAMME
In addition to the lectures, opportunities to socialize with BBA INSEEC administrative and academic staff and among each other within workshops, as well as discuss partner collaboration are also in programme. The EW2016 event invites all participants to discuss, try out, and share current trends, topics and models for developing education in the field of business.
The European Week in France would be certainly a great opportunity to get to know our institution and but also to experience French culture and way of life. We will arrange evening social events (dinners or workshops) so that the visitors can meet their colleagues from different countries in informal settings. The social program will enable the participants to share common interests, network and consider potential educational cooperation.
PARTICIPATION
We run this week for European Partners under the Erasmus+ conditions for teaching and /or staff mobility. In case there is no Erasmus agreement between our institutions covering teacher mobility yet, we would care for extending existing agreements or set up new ones. For non-EU Partners, financial issues will have to be fixed bilaterally.
We are planning to host around 20-25 participants. If we receive more applications, there will be a selection process based on the early application and on the participant's area of expertise in order to match academic contents of the programme. To garantee a cultural diversity of the EW 2016 group, the number of participants is limited to two persons per institution.
REGISTRATION
Registration period is open from 26 January to 15 February 2016 (ref. Invitation).
Application form online: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1GI7YkP74CSKY70q9pbJwD-MTUYhQlbescinWTxa...
Accepted participants will be confirmed within end of February and will be asked to provide us with additional items (CV, ID picture, course outline etc.)
COST
Participants are expected to cover travel, accommodation and individual expenses. Flight transfer from Bordeaux to Lyon as well as catering and social activities will be provided by our school. Please contact the International Office at your home university to find out whether funding through e.g. the ERASMUS+ programme for staff mobility is available.
BBA INSEEC is looking forward to meeting you in May!
