No library can buy or hold everything its patrons need. At a certain point, librarians need to pool their resources and collaborate to provide access to what they don’t have.

The 2022 edition of the Erasmus Mobility Staff Training week organized by the University of Liège Library will focus on services, projects and policies that libraries can deploy and promote to increase and ease access to materials that do not belong to their print or electronic holdings. The Week’s theme will be: Beyond the Library Collections. We don’t have it? Here it is!

Candidates are strongly encouraged to take an active part in the week by submitting a paper for a session. The session length should be 15 minutes minimum and not exceed 45 minutes. The week’s Proceedings will be published Open Access via e-publish within the year. (e-publish is a new comprehensive editing and publishing service provided by ULiège Library that allows authors and editors to participate in all stages leading to the publication of their work, from writing through to its distribution on digital platforms like DOAB and Google Books.) The final articles can be in English, French or German.
