The aim is to create a moment of sharing and discussion among Partner and Programme countries on hot topics related to mobility, also with the precious contribution of international networks.

BIPs - Blended Intensive Programmes - are acquiring importance and space in International Mobility activities and an increasing number of students and institutions are committing to their creation. UniPV has already completed 18 BIP and coordinates the Italian BIP task force, gathering 130 Italian HEIs: there is not better occasion to explore BIP management and new ideas with the staff week participants.

Not less important is to take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen our relations, to improve the collaboration and to enjoy the venue and the Italian history and food together.

The programme contains workshops, networking activities, and opportunities for sharing best practices among colleagues from a wide range of countries, including UNIPV partners in International Credit Mobility from Albania, Lebanon, Morocco and Nepal.

Please note that the Staff week is a BIP itself and, as a consequence of that, it will be implemented both as a virtual event, as well as an intensive physical mobility, as follows:

·  The virtual activity is an online meeting on the 6th of June at 10am CET

·  The physical component takes place in Pavia from 17 to 21 June

Target groups

To participate in the UniPV International Staff Week, you will need to go through an application process. Among the topics of the event there are BIPs - Blended Intensive Programmes and the mobility between Programme and Partner countries. As a consequence of that, it would be useful if you have experience on these topics at central or departmental level.

There is no fee for participating in the UniPV International Staff Week. Participants are however responsible for covering their own accommodation, travel to/from Pavia and part of the meals during the week. Some meals are however complementary from UNIPV.

Please visit the staff week's website to know more about the programme and how to apply!

Deadline of the application: 24 March

Communication regarding the application outcome: 1 April
