BIP Social representations and society: the 2024 summer school in social representations, culture and communication

The physical component of the event includes 5 days between 8 and 12th July 2024.

Over the course of these days, participants will attend several presentations on the main topics of the event. They will also take part in open discussions and participate in interactive activities. The presentations will be delivered by the PhD students and the researchers of the International Joint PhD in Social Representations, Culture and Communication (headquartered in Sapienza University of Rome, Italy).

The topics will be related to specific theoretical, methodological, and data analysis in the area of Social Representations, Culture and Communication, such as Theoretical approaches to the study of Social Representations, Relations between Social Representations and Culture, The dissemination of Social Representations through various communications media, Qualitative and quantitative investigation approaches in the research on Social Representations, Culture and Communication, Specific data analysis software and methods in the research in these areas.

Participants are expected to cover their expenses from the Erasmus+ grant provided by their home institution. The registration is open only to participants from Programme Countries (countries from European Union, EEA, Turkey, Serbia and Republic of North Macedonia).
