Our annual Staff Training Days that was planned for 3-5 June will be canceled due to the Covid-19 outbreak. In light of closure of borders, travel bans and the continuing spread of the coronavirus we belive it prudent to cancel the event rather than postpone it.

The Staff Training Days will be held in early June 2021 and we hope to welcome you then.

International Staff Training Days will be held at the University of Iceland 3-5 June 2020. This year’s theme is BOOSTING STUDENT MOBILITY: Obstacles, strategies and possible solutions. Focus will be on various factors that contribute to student mobility and how they relate to the new Erasmus+ programme. These include the quality of agreements, digitalisation as well as inclusion and diversity in student mobility.

The program will include keynote presentations, discussions and interactive workshops. Participation fee is 200 € for the full programme. The fee includes lunches (2), Welcome reception on Wednesday, dinner at a downtown Reykjavik restaurant on Thursday evening and a guided excursion on Friday afternoon. Please note that participants are responsible for covering their own accommodation and travel costs.

The deadline for applications is 3 March 2020.  Limited places available and no more than 2 participants per university will be accepted. All applicants will be informed of the the results of the selection committee by 13 March 2020.
