Our annual "International Library Staff Week" that was planned for 15-19 June will be canceled due to the Covid-19 outbreak. In light of closure of borders, travel bans and the continuing spread of the coronavirus we cancel the event for this year rather than postpone it.

We are delighted to invite you to our second International Library Staff Week that will be held in June 15 – 19, 2020 at the University Library of Southern Denmark (Odense, Denmark).

The main aim of the week is to provide participating with a platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and best practices. The event aims to initiate discussion of how libraries are changing and what we need to know for the future of libraries.

The International Library Staff Week will offer great opportunities for networking, sharing knowledge and best practices within and across professional areas.

The target group for the Staff Week is all library staff working with or being interested in the topic of innovation and sustainability at the libraries.

We would like some of the participations to contribute by sharing best practice and ideas. The contributions may be carried out in form of small presentations, group work exercises or other interactive tasks.

Participants are expected to obtain Erasmus+ mobility grants from their home institutions to cover the costs of travel, living and other arrangements related to their participation.

Please note that the program is preliminary, and any adjustments will be announced well in advance of the event.

The working language will be English for all activities.

Application deadline will be Thursday afternoon, March 5th. Results will be communicated via email by 15th March.

We look forward to welcoming you at the University Library of Southern Denmark!
