Once again the Polytechnic of Leiria is organizing the Open Staff Week 2017 “Coaching for International Relations” to be held from 13 to 17 of November!

This last few years the Open Staff Week was a way to open departments to staff colleagues all over Europe in a logic of job shadowing but this year we took a further step-  we thought in a program that could also enhance our skills by adding workshops, joint group themes, further discussion on new buzz areas in Higher Education, training and interactive shared tasks. The themes will be covered through a series of workshops but there’s time to work and time to attend a cultural program, a social group therapy or just relax and enjoy beautiful Leiria!

The program is aimed towards staff members of HEI who work in the frame of  internationalization on broader terms, that means that it is not exclusively targeted for international officers but to a large group of staff and teachers with various backgrounds who in  one way or another deal with the different strands  of internationalization

The Cultural Program

Leiria is an enchanted region full of Castles and Monasteries. You’ll get the opportunity to visit the Monastery of Batalha and the Leiria Castle!

The Leisure Time

One of our Schools organize every year an Workshop of Dance which have been proved to be very relaxing for everyone. We intend to keep the tradition. Furthermore we’ll have a joint lunch on the very first day  to get to know each other as an ice breaker!

Price:

150€, including all workshops, cultural, leisure activities mentioned including the welcome lunch.

You may apply through the Erasmus KA103 or KA107 staff and teacher mobility or just pop in at your own expenses-  you won’t regret it! Leiria is a cheap city to stay (around 35€ per night in a 3 star hotel) and we’ll help you out with the necessary booking if you wish.
