Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń welcomes  administrative  colleagues  working in the field of international student support from all over the World to attend the 1st International Staff Week 'Communication in a Multicultural Environment', which will take place at NCU on 9-13 December 2019.

The International Staff Week is organized by the Department of International Cooperation and the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management.

You will have an opportunity to join the representatives of different international universities and be part of an unforgettable international experience!

 

Who should apply?

All members of international student support administration staff from higher education institutions

 

What topics will be addressed?

Main topic of of theweek:  Communication in a multicultural environment . The ISW will also focus on improving interpersonal skills of student services staff. You will participate in a variety of activities such as lectures, presentations, workshops and simulations covering the following areas: :

  • Interpersonal relations: how to build them  up?
  • International relations in academic institutions
  • Global challenges of internationalisation
  • Communication in a multicultural environment

Attention! The participants are welcome to deliver presentations about their home institutions. The title of the presentation: What makes us special?

 

Will there be other activities during the week?

Yes, several social activities will be organized to foster international networking opportunities and to discover the city of Toruń:
