This year's topic will be "Digital Internationalization: Strategies for international offices, international E learning formats, and new approaches for administration: examples and best practice".

Digital transformation does affect all aspects of our society. It also strongly affects the way we organize international collaborations at higher education institutions and the way universities deal with internationalization on various levels. Digital transformation will change

  • the way we administrate international mobilities,
  • teaching formats in the global context: digital transformation of exchange programs,
  • research collaboration in global network,
  • the structure of cooperation programs and support in international offices

The Konstanz Staff Training Week is an opportunity to discuss different approaches of how higher institutions approach digitalization in the international context, discuss strategies of International Offices for new administrative procedures as well as new formats of international exchange such as webinars, e learning, etc.

An inspiring key note will introduce you to the E Science Strategy of the University of Konstanz, followed by presentations of Konstanz' examples and the e learning team. Nevertheless, we would be delighted to include presentations of participants and thus get a full picture of universities' engagement worldwide. In addition, general information about the University of Konstanz and social events are included. You will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from the departments and to participate in our annual International Day, organized for Konstanz students wishing to study abroad. The language of communication will be English.
