The Documentation and Information Service of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities is delighted to invite librarians, archivists and documentalists to join us in a Staff Training Week on 6th-10th May 2024.
With roots dating back to the eighteenth century, the University of Porto is an institution proud of its past. In recent years, U.Porto has consolidated its position in the world rankings, being listed among the 100 best universities in Europe and the 350 best in the world.
The Faculty of Arts and Humanities shares this heritage.
The main topics of the training programme are: “Digital Preservation, Open Science and Humanities Labs”.
The Staff Week will provide an opportunity to learn about the different units within the faculty's library and archive, with a special focus on their research support practices, while providing a space for the exchange of experiences and good practices.
