Educational summer school

This summer, the Institut de Français at the Université d'Orléans is organizing an educational summer school for international teachers of French as a foreign language. This course is eligible for Erasmus+ grants under the "Staff Mobility for Training" (STT) scheme for university teachers, but is also open to all other teachers of French as a foreign language.

It will take place from 1st to 12th July 2024 and will offer 4 training modules:

1.     Creative practices for a new approach to writing and speaking
2.     Teaching today's French society and culture using current media
3.     Using digital technology to create fun, collaborative activities
4.     -Teaching FLE using the media

The aim is to examine teaching practices, experiment with new ones and appropriate resources, while exploring the city of Orléans and the Loire castles region, as the course also includes a programme of cultural visits to the region.

We also offer the possibility of half-board accommodation with a host family or in a studio flat in the city centre. Enrolment is open (until 31 May 2024) to anyone who is a teacher of French as a foreign language and has a B2 level in French.
