We are pleased to invite you to the International Staff Training Week of the University of Porto concerning Employability Services: Employability: a challenge to Universities and Companies, which will be held from November 26th to 30th 2018.

In a join venture with University of Trás os Montes and Alto Douro (Portugal) and University of Vigo (Spain), the main purpose of our International Staff Training Week is to widen and strengthen the cooperation with partner institutions, to share different experiences on career & employability services, to facilitate networking and establish new partnerships.

You will have the opportunity to understand how the Employability Services works at U.Porto, UTAD, and U.Vigo, share experiences and practices of career counselling for students and alumni, discuss challenges and trends among employability with some invited speakers and companies; visit some local entrepreneurial areas, companies  and some career services and discover the city of Porto. In addition, we want to invite all guests to exchange ideas, to present their home universities, structures and working practices, to explore and discuss special topics of interest within the field of career and employability themes. There is a limited capacity of 20 people and we will try to ensure the most diverse group from different countries. Thus we will not accept more than 2 people from the same institution. We will communicate the results at the beginning of October 2018. The staff will only happen with a minimum of 15 participants.

COSTS: 250€ participation fee, which includes: daily lunch; official dinner; coffee-breaks; visits and social programme; certificates of attendance.

Participants are expected to cover their own travel and living expenses (accommodation) through the Erasmus funds for staff mobility or otherwise.  Information on travelling, accommodation and other practical matters will be provided to the selected participants. If the selected participant applies to an Erasmus grant he will be asked to fill in the Erasmus Training Programme form that will be signed by the home and receiving institution.
