Our new, 1 or 2-week course for 2024 on English as a Medium for Instruction includes developing skills as educators in an international tertiary context.
Objectives of this course include learning about teaching English to an international student body, discussing and experimenting with different teaching and learning methodologies, revising correction, feedback, and assessment & applying learning to own educational context.
On completion of this course, participants will have learned about and experimented with different methodologies. The goal being to find an approach that works in practice.
Participants will also have the opportunity to experience this for themselves through the use of CEC’s E-Learning platform which gives training in web skills through the use of English, neatly combining subject and language acquisition.
