Erasmus+ Conference and the 5th International Staff Week

On behalf of the Karkonosze College in Jelenia Gora we are pleased to invite you to the Erasmus+ Conference and the 5th International Staff Week at the Karkonosze College in Jelenia Gora. The event will be held between 08-12 April, 2019. 

The main goal of the conference and the Staff Week will be to create the platform wherein the visitors can share their to share their knowledge and innovative ideas through lectures and practical sessions presented for Polish students and colleagues from different study programmes at Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra: Journalism and Social Communication, English and German Philology, Pedagogy: Early and Primary Childhood Education and Social Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Physical Education, Technical and Computer Science Education and Nutrition Science. Basing on the know-how of the participants we are going to explore teaching and training methodologies, discuss projects, network and visit classes.

The Week will provide an opportunity to meet with staff from Karkonosze College in Jelenia Gora as well as invited guests from Erasmus+ programme and partner countries within KA107 from Syria, USA, Ukraine and China.

We also hope that the comprehensive program of the Erasmus+ Conference and the 5th International Staff week at the Karkonosze College in Jelenia Gora, will give us the opportunity to gain new knowledge regarding Erasmus exchanges and will help us strengthen our existing partnerships while presenting information about our lovely border region of Poland with the surrounding Giant Mountains: Karkonosze where the College is situated.

The participation fee for the staff week is €50, paid on arrival, and includes conference materials, coffee breaks and lunch snacks during 4 days, a guided visit to the Pearl of the West (Perła Zachodu) and the city of Jelenia Góra as well as the study tour around The Jelenia Góra Valley of Palaces and Gardens. The price includes also free use of the gym and the swimming pool facilities at Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra. Welcome and Farewell Dinner and Visit in the Cieplice Spa are optional and will cost respectively €20 each (in total €60) on arrival.  

There is a possibility to stay in the Halls of Residence of the College in a double room for single use for as little as 55 PLN a night (about 15 Euro a night).
