Erasmus+ Global Week 2025

The 6th Edition of the Polytechnic University of Coimbra's Erasmus+ Global Week, taking place from 19th to 23rd May 2025, will focus on the theme "Internationalisation at Home". This programme aims to strengthen global networks and foster international cooperation, with a particular focus on how to integrate internationalisation within our home institutions. The event will provide a platform for discussing global challenges, sharing best practices, and exploring how higher education can contribute to addressing these issues, all within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.

Coimbra, known as the “City of Knowledge,” is a prestigious academic hub, making it the ideal setting for this week-long event. It will offer opportunities for cross-cultural interaction, the exchange of ideas, and collaborative problem-solving among participants from diverse international backgrounds.

The event is limited to 70 participants, with the following selection criteria:

• Priority will be given to staff working in International Offices.
• A maximum of 2 participants per institution.
• Due to academic scheduling, Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching applications will not be accepted for this event.
