Corvinus University of Budapest has been organising Erasmus Staff Weeks for six years with the participation of 25-30 staff members from international partner universities.

Main topics of the training:

  • Intercultural skills and competences
  • Cross-cultural understanding
  • Intercultural sensitivity and tolerance

The training is designed to provide participants with an understanding of different cultures, the role of cultural differences in everyday communication and in academic setting as well. It helps participants appreciate the issues, problems, and challenges inherent in cultural differences. Topics to be discussed: cultural shock, adaptation, stereotypes, critical incidents, intercultural competence.

The participation fee is 250,-EUR, that includes the intercultural training, welcome dinner, 4 lunches, coffee breaks, public transport pass for 7 days, social events.

Travel and accommodation costs have to be covered by the participants.

We can accept only one participant from each university.
