Erasmus Library Staff Week

The University of Ostrava (UO) is greatly pleased to invite you to our 1st Erasmus Library Staff Week which will take place in Ostrava, Czech Republic, from 30th May to 3rd June 2022.

This training event is designed for administrative staff and will focus on university library services and services for students. Over the five-day period you will have the opportunity to participate in a dynamic and engaging programme which includes presentations, workshops and social events.

Staff Week is designed for: Administrative staff responsible for library services agenda. As we would like to gain more information about the participants’ universities, we ask each participant to prepare a 5-10 minute long presentation about her/his university and library.

Capacity: The number of participants is limited to 20, with a maximum of 2 attendees per institution.

Working language: English.

Finance: No participation fee is required. Participants are expected to cover their expenses from the Erasmus+ grant provided by their home institution.

Registration will be open till 1st April 2022. Please do not make travel arrangements before your participation is confirmed. Confirmation of participation, detailed programme with information about accommodation and transportation options will be sent to participants after the registration deadline, at the latest by 08th April 2022.
