ERASMUS Library Staff Week (Cancelled)

CONUL will be cancelling the 2020 CONUL ERASMUS week.  We feel this is the best course of action in light of the evolving protocols both in Ireland and across Europe to manage the spread of COVID 19.  We wish library colleagues good health.  We look forward to sharing details of our 2021 programme later this year. 

CONUL, the Consortium of National and University Libraries in Ireland (www.conul.ie), is delighted to announce the fourth collaborative ERASMUS Library Staff Mobility week, 22-26 June 2020, in Dublin.  The event is being organised by CONUL’s Staff Training and Development Group (http://www.conul.ie/training-development/ ).

The libraries of Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology, Maynooth University, National Library of Ireland, RCSI [Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland], University College Dublin and University of Dublin, Trinity College have come together to provide a dynamic and engaging programme of training for library colleagues under the ERASMUS scheme.

The programme consists of presentations by library staff from CONUL member libraries, presentations from the selected participants, joint group work exercises and other interactive tasks.  It will also include library tours of the host libraries - Dublin City University, Maynooth University, National Library of Ireland, RCSI [Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland], TU Dublin, University College Dublin and The University of Dublin, Trinity College.
