Dear Colleagues,

 

We kindly invite you to our 2nd International Staff Week at the Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra. The event will be held between 4th and 8th April 2016 in Jelenia Góra, Poland.

The purpose is to promote the idea of internationalization and strengthen our international partnership through personal meetings. The Staff  Week will enable the exchange and information sharing between participants on the issues of internationalization management of student mobility with Erasmus+,  organization of practical placements, benefits of studying and practical practice abroad, foreign language learning, possibility of creating common degree programmes. The participants will be requested to actively take part in discussions and contribute with their presentations on various topics or their home institution.

Moreover, during the International Staff Week lecturers will also have a chance to carry out their Erasmus Teaching Programme and teach our students in fields such as: teaching (pedagogy – especially pre-school and early school pedagogy), journalism, English and German philology, computer and technical education, physiotherapy, nursing, dietetics and physical education.

An essential goal of the week will be equipping the participants with knowledge about the border-region of Poland with the surrounding Giant Mountains: Karkonosze where the College is situated.

The Staff Traning at Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra is suitable for academics, staff from international offices, career offices, press, information and library services, but all staff are welcome.

There are no participation fees. The Welcome Dinner and lunches included on the Programme will be free of charge. Participants are expected to cover the costs of other meals, their own travel, accommodation and tourist trips (20 Euro each) through the Erasmus staff exchange programme or otherwise.

The language of communication is English.
