Corvinus University of Budapest is organising Erasmus Staff Week with the participation of 20-25 staff members from international partner universities.

Main topics of the training:

Intercultural awareness and sensitivity

  • The training is designed to provide participants with an understanding of different cultures, the role of cultural differences in everyday communication and in academic setting as well. It helps participants appreciate the issues, problems, and challenges inherent in cultural differences. Topics to be discussed: cultural shock, adaptation, stereotypes, critical incidents, intercultural competence.

Crisis communication

  • The training aims to provide insights into how to communicate internally and externally in the event of a crisis. The workshop is designed to be interactive and participatory with the use of sharing own experiences and practice, simulation games, role plays and communication excercises.

The participation fee is 270 € which includes the training, welcome dinner, 4 lunches, coffee breaks, social events.
