Erasmus+ Staff Week for Language Teachers "How to combine a passion with language teaching"

Lazarski University has the pleasure of inviting you to the Erasmus+ Staff Week entitled "How to combine a passion with language teaching", which will take place June 17–21, 2024 in Warsaw, Poland. 

During the 5-day event, the participants will not only have the opportunity to get to know the new methods and tools for involving students in active language studying, but also to discover the passion for teaching in everything that surrounds us. Music, relations, cooking, new technologies. These words have one thing in common – PASSION. 

Our Staff Week will be devoted, among others, to the following topics:

- Language for Specific Purposes

- Student-teacher rapport

- ChatGPT

- tactile teaching methods

What do we offer?

• 20 hours of substantive classes with passionate instructors

• Networking and exchange of experiences among workshop participants

• Exciting afternoon or evening outings combined with sightseeing and an exploration of Polish culture

• Coffee breaks (coffee, tea, water, fruit sweets)

• Daily lunch or a hearty snack

• Workshops on Polish cuisine (including the famous Polish pierogi)

• Dinner in a traditional Polish restaurant in the Old Town

• Welcome and farewell drinks

• Commemorative souvenirs

• Certificates of programme completion

In order to receive the Erasmus+ grant, you should contact the Erasmus+ Office at your institution and express the interest in staff mobility for training. You should receive 140 EUR per day for your mobility so if you go for 5 days + 2 days for travel it should be 980 EUR. In addition, there is a lump sum for travel, based on the distance calculator, usually between 275 EUR and 360 EUR.
