ERASMUS+ Staff week for teacher educators

The event is aimed at both administrative and academic staff from HEI with teacher education focus and Erasmus+ funding. However, we welcome staff from other universities interested in affairs concerning teacher education. 

During the five-day programme, participants will learn about the Czech teacher education system, faculty school system, intercultural issues in education and get a chance to visit Czech schools.

The program is flexible and tailored specifically to the needs of educating teachers with shadowing counterparts (international relations, lifelong learning, grant office, study department or economic and personnel affairs depending on their area of interest). In case of attending academics, we will organize meetings with tutors and professors in fields closely aligned with their specializations.  

Attendants will learn about the Czech education system, get a crash course of Czech language and visit some of our partner primary schools. There will be room for both presentations and discussing hot topics in HEI, respective education systems and sharing best practices. 

Participants will be responsible for their accommodation and travel cost. The Faculty of Education will provide practical advice to the registered applicants.  

The registration fee will cover coffee breaks, three lunches, reception and listed staff week programme.
