MARDIN ARTUKLU UNIVERSITY

Mardin Artuklu University was established as a public university in 2007 in Mardin city that has a 4000-years history including various civilisations, languages, religions and culture. Being among the young and developing universities Mardin Artuklu University consists of 7 faculties, 4 colleges, 6 vocational colleges, 3 institutes, one State Conservatory, and 11 research and application centres.

Our university is located 7 km away from the city centre on the Road of Diyarbakır. The main campus, with its social and scientific facilities, is set in a large and green area. 

MAU has always been active in international cooperation. International activities are arranged and coordinated by the International Relation Office, which combines Erasmus+, Mevlana and Farabi exchange programmes.

In accordance with internationalisation our university has agreements with more than 90 Higher Education Institutions. MAU International Relations Office is making an effort to send and host many students and staffs in wide range of fields within the framework of international exchange programmes. THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK IN MARDIN

    

We will be pleased to invite you to take part in Mardin Artuklu University’s 1st International Staff Week which will take place from October 02 to 06, 2023.

With this International Staff Week, we aim to welcome our colleagues from different institutions and share experiences with regard to the following theme: 

The programme consists of:

●      The participant’s Introducing  their institutions

●      Looking for new agreements among the participants

●      Sharing experiences related to IRO in order to enhance the Internationalisation

●      Meeting new cultures, making touristic trips, trying new cuisine,

Thanks to these activities, we will have the opportunity to discover new practices, exchange great ideas and open new gates for further relationships between participants.

In addition to that of the event is to share experiences among colleagues in a friendly atmosphere and make it an entertaining and refreshing experience for our international guests with various activities such as daily trips and a taste of delicious Mardin cuisine.

The number of participants is limited to 15. The main communication language will be English.

Applicants will be informed about their acceptance in mid-September and will receive a detailed programme as well as practical information (accommodation, transportation, etc.)
