Students joining ATC’s General English language course will learn English in an international class with students from around the world, making this a truly intercultural experience. The course is designed to focus on communication and improve the students’ understanding of the four key skills of English language focusing on communication; listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as developing grammar and vocabulary skills.

We offer free weekly workshops in English for the Workplace, and in Pronunciation, where participants can work on further improving their spoken English.

Participants on the course are given the opportunity to join our online e-learning platform, ATC Online, for three months after they have finished their course of study with us, enabling them to continue on their journey of English language learning. The platform provides participants with a wide variety of adaptive materials to practise their English grammar and vocabulary, and to engage in further skills development.

Our General English courses are available from A1 to C1 level (Elementary to Advanced) in our both of our fantastic locations, in Bray and Dublin:

Bray is a traditional seaside town just 35 minutes south of Dublin on the east coast, and our school is located ideally facing the Irish Sea.

Our school in Dublin is in the heart of the city, within walking distance from all the main attractions of Ireland’s vibrant capital city.

We offer 20 hours of classroom-based learning per week. We also offer a comprehensive social and cultural programme enabling participants to combine their learning with the chance to explore Dublin and the Irish countryside.

Students can begin each Monday through the year on a continuous enrolment system.

Accommodation is not included in the course fees but can be provided by ATC, either in self-catering accommodation within walking distance to the school or staying with a local host family. Accommodation can also be arranged independently by the course participant.
