Our new, 1 or 2-week course for 2024 on Global Citizenship explores the complexities of local, national, and global connections and our views, attitudes, and assumptions.

In a hyper-connected age, it is essential to be aware of emerging issues and how they impact our learners, as well as us directly.

This course aims to raise participants' global awareness and understanding – practising cross-cultural communication and collaboration in a connected age.

In addition to promoting critical thinking and creative problem-solving, fostering diversity and inclusion addressing sustainability and responsibility.

On completion of this course, participants will have developed as global citizens, and have greater insight into how to transfer this practice in the classroom.

Participants will also have the opportunity to experience this for themselves through the use of CEC’s E-Learning platform which gives training in web skills through the use of English, neatly combining subject and language acquisition.
