This staff week is an ideal opportunity to discuss hot topics, exchange new insights or trade best practices about issues that form a challenge for 21st century humanities’ libraries. What to do with large paper collections in open stacks? How to make the digital turn? What place to give digital humanities in a library? What new services can we offer? What new services do our researchers and students expect? Digital scholarship in the library? Fostering Open (Humanities) Science?

With a combination of keynote speakers, group discussions, workshops and presentations by participants we will tackle some pressing issues:

  • What is the future of the paper collection and the open stacks library?
  • Evolutions in collection development?
  • How to make the digital turn & what place for DH?
  • What role for a library within humanities research & new tasks or services?

Several interesting library visits will also be included in the program.
