IGS/ICD Staff week - Neurosciences & Teaching

The “Institut International du Commerce et du Développement (ICD)” is organizing a Staff Week from March 19 to March 22, 2018.

Where?

Paris, France - 10th district.

What?

The four day program will focus on the following topics:

• Neuroscience; how the brain works and how educators can adapt their teaching styles to allow their students to learn more easily and faster.
• What are pedagogical innovation anyway? Best practices
• Emotions in the learning process, how to harness the power of emotion which is more determinant that reason or logic on an individual’s behavior.
• Understanding how emotions affect the learning process in higher education.
• And then let’s have fun ! Workshops will explore pedagogical innovations such as the use of games, music…etc.

Other elements will include:

• Getting to know the ICD school;
• Networking and exploring/increasing the collaboration;
• Learning from shared experience.

Who?

The event is open to all teachers and administrative staff dealing with international affairs, who can use their institution’s Erasmus+ funds to cover their mobility if they wish.

How?

Spaces are limited and we are reserving them initially for our friends in partner schools before opening up registration to other institutions.
