Explore Cagliari’s downtown, rich in ancient history, where you will admire the fusion of Italian architecture and Medieval engineering. Witness the heritage left by the various populations that have inhabited Sardinia throughout the centuries.
The ancient Roman Amphitheater, built between the first and second centuries A.D., was forged from the rocks that constitute the natural landscape of the island. This amphitheater was the scene of gladiatorial combat before becoming, in recent times, an invaluable cultural space used principally for drama and the performing arts.

Enjoy a guided visit to the Botanical Garden of Cagliari, founded by the renowned botanist Patrizio Gennari. The Garden hosts a wide variety of native and exotic plants, offering a rich and colorful experience. During your visit, you’ll also have the chance to explore the ancient aqueduct, originally built by the Carthaginians and later expanded by the Romans.
