These days, innovation and diversity, or InDi, are very trendy terms. Through this program, we aim to demonstrate together with you that these are not just words, but rather, viable methods for improving our surroundings.

In the program, we focus on participatory teaching methodologies developed jointly by the Disability Studies and Social Innovation Lab and the Education Rights Ombudsman for practical use.

Goal of the BIP

We learn to use InDi glasses to manage innovations and diversity in our own communities, making our world fairer and more sustainable. Our focus is on education, culture, sports, and religious life.

Learning strategy

Instead of traditional lectures, we use interactive methodologies that engage participants and allow them to experience the power of collaboration firsthand. Participants begin to build and expand their own networks.

In addition to the in-person meeting, we will meet twice online. One of these meetings will take place before the in-person meeting. It will allow participants to get to know each other and begin exploring their environment from an InDi perspective.

The second online conversation is about sharing your InDi story. How do you see innovation and diversity manifested in your environment after attending the program?

Main topics

  • Diversity, Equal Opportunities and Inclusive Practices in Education
  • Participation in Theory and Practice
  • Participatory Teaching and Innovation in Special Needs Education
  • Pastoral Higher Education and Inclusive Communities
  • Provision of Assistance for Underprivileged People in  Social Higher Education
