Dear Partners and Colleagues,
we are very pleased to inform you that the University of Catania will be hosting the 8th edition of our ERASMUS STAFF WEEK on “Innovation in Global Mobility within Higher Education”. The event, scheduled between 16th and 20th April, 2018, is addressed to academic and administrative staff and will focus on projects and proposals for strengthening innovation strategies in global mobility programs.
We cordially invite you to join the Catania Staff Week to discuss and share experiences and best practices for empowering and innovating mobility policies in higher education. We hope you will enjoy your experience at our university in a stimulating academic environment based on tradition and innovation, both key elements for educational institutions’ development.
Please find attached herewith our preliminary Program 2018: we have scheduled some interactive working sessions and discussion groups, as well as cultural and social activities. Please also consider that the attendance of minimum 2/3 of the scheduled activites wll be requested.
We are happy to invite up to 30 participants from partner Universities. We recommend the interested candidates to fill in the online application form available here until March 20th, 2018. The selection will be made on the basis of CVs, background interests and first-come first-served, and the results will be mailed to each applicant shortly after the process deadline. Please be aware that we can allow a maximum of 3 (three) representatives from each institution and that candidates engaged in International Mobility and Erasmus institutional coordinators will have the priority in the selection. We do not charge any program fees and will cover all social events’ and most of the meals’ costs. Visiting participants from our European Partners are encouraged to use the Erasmus Staff Mobility Program. Accommodation and travel cost will be covered by participants.
