We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Blended Intensive Program, which aims to present knowledge, share experiences, and exchange insights regarding solutions that enhance environmental sensitivity throughout the life cycle within the university context. Our specialized, yet fragmented approach highlights the abundance of detailed data that can be challenging to contextualize within the broader experience of being a minority, regardless of the underlying reasons. Under the theme of INNOVATION – INTERDISCIPLINARITY – INCLUSION, we seek to showcase effective solutions, share best practices, and inspire one another to cultivate environments conducive to development, education, work, and life within the scope of university opportunities. This includes exploring research areas, organizational possibilities, and fostering an inclusive university environment for both students and staff. We emphasize the importance of developing competencies that support mental resilience. Our goal is to shift the focus from individual traits to adaptation within various environments, as well as to assess the quality of these environments. This perspective is grounded in the concept of environmental sensitivity, which posits that individuals perceive and process stimuli from their surroundings in unique ways, influenced by their personal characteristics and predispositions. We aim to broaden the assumptions of this theory by addressing diversity related to sensitivity and creating supportive conditions that enable individuals throughout their life cycles to realize their full potential. The planned activities will facilitate the establishment of new relationships based on shared research and development goals. We intend to disseminate previously developed solutions and good practices while highlighting the importance of international collaboration and interdisciplinary initiatives. Welcome to Lublin!
We are excited to host you in our unique city, which beautifully blends Eastern and Western cultures and serves as a vibrant center of inspiration. As the largest city in eastern Poland, Lublin attracts visitors with its multicultural atmosphere, historical landmarks, and dynamic cultural scene. The city hosts numerous festivals, such as Carnaval Sztukmistrzów and Night of Culture, which enliven our streets and draw artists from around the globe. Lublin is also recognized as the "City of Universities," home to nine universities and over 60,000 students, making it a significant academic hub. In 2029, Lublin will proudly hold the title of European Capital of Culture, further solidifying its role as a meeting place for diverse traditions and ideas. We look forward to your participation in this enriching program and your contribution to our shared mission.
