The course is open to any participant (students, teaching and administrative staff of higher education). This training is not only limited to Staff Week participants and you will share your time in class and during the activities with all kind of other participants.

Languages available: French or English

No minimum of language requirement. Subject to enough participants to open a level. 

There is a limited number of places available. We reserve the right to give preference to applications that would allow the opening of one level group more than another.

The objective of this training is to help participants build comprehension, production and interaction skills in writing and speaking. The contents are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The program includes: 22.5 hours of classes + morning breaks (fresh drinks and snacks), guided tour of Caen, one lunch at the student restaurant on campus, and several social activities (program to be precised).

The University of Caen Normandie, which welcomes more than 30 000 students per year, is one of the 66 public universities in France. It is one of the oldest universities in Europe: it was created in the Middle Ages (1432). Caen is a young and dynamic city, conveniently located 15 km from the sea and 2 hours by train from Paris, in the heart of the historical and touristic region of Normandy.
