We are pleased to invite you to our International Staff Training Week at Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg, themed "ENGAGE: Fostering Community Engagement in Higher Education for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion". This event will take place from October 14-18, 2024, and promises a rich program focused on enhancing community engagement practices within higher education institutions.
In addition to presentations, workshops, lectures, and discussions, the staff week will feature social activities including an opening dinner, a city tour, and an evening social event.
This program meets the requirements of the Erasmus+ staff mobility grant.

/ 14.10.2024, Monday
Official welcome, followed by two keynote lecturers. The first workshop focuses on problems of practice in higher education. The day concludes with an opening dinner.
/ 15.10.2024, Tuesday
Explore community engagement through the lens of DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility). This session highlights meaningful participation and accountability in community engagement strategies.
/ 16.10.2024, Wednesday
Develop action plans for community engagement. Activities include practical exercises, presentations, and group feedback.
/ 17.10.2024, Thursday
Participate in a community engagement activity on water hydration! A city tour and a social dinner conclude the evening.
/ 18.10.2024, Friday
Interested participants can opt to join the Erasmus+ Day celebration or the discussion on publication opportunities on the workshop theme.
