Università degli Studi di Perugia is pleased to announce its forthcoming International Staff Week, a one-week training programme aimed at colleagues from our Partner Institutions and other foreign Universities in the framework of Erasmus+ Programme.

The International Staff Week will take place in Perugia from 15 to 19 October, 2018 and will be open to all University employees working in the field of Internationalization and Management of European Educational Projects.

Within the Staff Week, Prof. Gregoris A. Makrides from EAEC, the European Association of Erasmus Coordinators, will hold a 3-day course on "Preparation of Proposals and Management of European Education Projects under ERASMUS+".

The International Staff Week programme will also include a networking event, during which the participants can present their home institutions and meet students and Erasmus+ local Coordinators, and the annual Welcome Day, an event dedicated to all our international students who will spend a mobility in Perugia. 

FEES

There are no participation fees and the Università degli Studi di Perugia will bear all expenses related to the training course held by Prof. Gregoris A. Makrides as well as expenses related to coffee breaks and buffet lunches that will be held during the training sessions.

All the activities included in the social programme are also free of charge: Welcome dinner, Guided tour of the ″Perugina” Chocolate Factory, Buffet lunch during the Welcome Day, Guided tour of Perugia city centre, bus transfer to/from Assisi, Guided tour and lunch in Assisi.

As far as travel and accommodation costs, and other costs for activities not included in the training programme, participants are expected to cover their own expenses, e.g. through the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training.

LOCATION 

Perugia (Italy). The location of the University main building is very close to the city centre. We will carry out the staff-week activities in a variety of settings and places, also providing you with enough time to socialize with other participants and colleagues.

ACCOMMODATION

Accepted participants can book their accommodation in any hotel of their choice but they can also benefit from the special arrangements we have made with selected hotels located in the city centre of Perugia. More detailed information about special rates and recommendations will be given directly to the accepted participants via email, or on request.

REGISTRATION

Maximum number of participants expected for the week is 40 and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please be aware that preferably we would accept one representative, maximum two, for each institution.

In order to reserve your seat, please fill in and send the Registration form to area.relint@unipg.it, specifying “UNIPG staff week” in the object of the email. The deadline for submitting your applications is September 24, 2018.
