Rennes 2 University (France) will host an International Staff Week from June 22nd to 26th 2026.
The program has been designed for administrative and academic staff from Rennes 2 University partners. Priority will be given to universities in the EMERGE Alliance.
Our Offer:
- Improve your French language skills with Rennes 2’s premier language-learning center, the CIREFE
- Gain a greater understanding of French culture
- Take part in numerous cultural outings
Practical Information:
- Minimum level of French required: Confirmed A2 level (a preliminary online language test will be proposed to help determine the level of each selected participant).
- Venue: Rennes 2 University, Villejean Campus, Rennes (Brittany)
- Date: from Monday, June 22nd to Friday, June 26th, 2026

Registration will be open until Monday, March 16th, 2026. The number of participants is limited to 20 persons maximum and we will not be able to accept more than 2 people per institution. All applicants, including those who are not selected, will receive the results of the selection by email by no later than Friday, April 3rd, 2026.
Costs and Fees: 350 € per individual (please consult the last page of this program for more information).
This fee will include:
- 16 hours of French-language and civilisation courses;
- A one-day excursion to the corsair city, Saint Malo;
- Wine and cheese tasting evening;
- Visit of the city of Rennes, capital of Brittany;
- Museum visit with a tour guide;
- Welcome lunch, closing lunch, announced coffee breaks;
- Local travel (10 metro / bus tickets).
Participants from ERASMUS+ universities can apply, within their own Universities, for an ERASMUS+ grant to support overcosts.
