International Teaching Week

TEACH/CONNECT/TEA BY THE SEA - International Project Week April 2024

The „International Project Week“ will take place from April 22nd – 26th 2024 at the University of Applied Sciences Emden / Leer in Emden, Germany and will be financed by Teaching Staff Mobility under Erasmus+ or by other financial means by your home university. During these five days, lecturers will provide a seminar-type lesson of 8 hours including a self-studying period for the students, where students should work out a task that will be included in the lecture. The specific topic of the lecture could be chosen from various business areas like marketing, finance, management, information technology and so on.

If you decide to participate, we would appreciate an introduction of your home institution at the beginning of your lecture. We are planning to offer several activities during this week. You will get to know the city of Emden and the surrounding area. In addition to our Formal Dinner, we will organize a “Come Together” at our campus-based “Lüttje Studi Huus” where everyone brings food and/or drinks and, if you like also music, from their home country and gives a short presentation of the home university. Selected drinks will be offered. On Wednesday April 24th we will take you to a day trip to Leer, where you will discover the Miniaturland Leer. After a lunch break, we will participate in a traditional East-Frisian tea ceremony at the Bünting Tea-Museum.
