International Week 2015 at University of Primorska

3rd International Week of the University of Primorska

The University of Primorska (UP; Koper, Slovenia) welcomes administrative and teaching staff from the Erasmus+ partner universities. In order to give the best overview of our institution we offer a one week programme “International Week 2015 of the University of Primorska” that will take place from 11th to 15th May 2015.

Monday, 11th May 2015

  9.00 – 9.30 Registration

  9.30 – 10.30 Welcome and opening of the International Week 2015: Presentation of your host university, city and country

10.30 – 11.15 First steps of the Slovenian language – short course of Slovenian language, Dr. Irina Makarova Tominc

11.15 – 12.00 Guided tour of Koper, Dr. Boštjan Bugarič

12.00 – 14.00 Welcome lunch

  9.30 – 11.30 Presentation of participant universities

11.30 – 12.30 Presentation of Confucius Classroom Koper, Dr. Neva Čebron, Gong Yue, Xu Xuepei

12.30 – 13.15 Lunch

19.00 – 20.00 Classical music concert by Maja Tajnšek (piano) and Sabira Hajdarević (mezzosoprano)

Thursday, 14th May 2015

9.00 – 16.00 Slovenian Coast (Koper - Izola  - Piran - Koper) by boat (lunch included)

Friday, 15th May 2015

10.00 – 12.00

 Closing of the International Week 2015 (Group and individual discussion, Evaluation, Certificates of attendance award)

The programme activities are planned for administrative staff.

Teaching staff is welcome to offer guest lectures during the International Week which have to be agreed with the host faculty. Teaching staff may also participate in the programme activities.

Participation in the scheduled programme is free of charge. Other costs such as travel and accommodation are covered by the participants themselves.
